Route directions

Turn left out of Markeaton Park and then turn right at the roundabout on to the A38 towards Burton.
At the next roundabout turn left and straight ahead at the mini roundabout.
Move into the right hand lane and turn right at the traffic lights.

On leaving the hospital, at the traffic lights turn left, straight on at the mini roundabout and right at the next roundabout
following the road back to the A38 North.
At Markeaton roundabout go straight ahead (M1 North) and ignore the next sliproad.
Leave at the following exit and at the roundabout take the road signed A6 Matlock.
Follow the main road for about 1.3 miles, passing Allestree Park and turn left onto Burley Lane
(signposted QUORNDON). From this point on you may now display all blue lights and make
limited noise.
Go through the village and carry straight on, passing the Markeaton pub and the Raj restaurant.
After about 1.6 miles turn right into Markeaton Lane, signposted Crematorium and Mundy Play
Centre
After the play centre turn left into the park.

	On Saturday morning we will be leaving the park in convoy with Police escort heading towards the Children's Hospital, where we will pick up a number of children prior to taking them a mini tour of the outskirts of Derby returning to the park in time for the opening. The convoy is expected to leave around 10:30 am and may cause minor delays to journey times. If you wish to take advantage of this once a year spectacular please study the map below and pick out your vantage point. Remember it's not every day you see some fifty fire engines together...			dfd
